Can you believe that it’s almost January 1, 2018?  Where has the year gone?

January 1 is the perfect time to start  tracking your finances.  It’s not that hard and it’s good to be conscious of where your money is going.

I have added several extra items to the 2018 Absolute Budget.

  1. Frozen panes on the monthly spending tabs.  This way, when you have to scroll to the right at the end of the month, you can see which category you have selected.
  2. Cash Flow tab.  This tab lets you see if you’ve made or spent more money during a certain time frame.  You can select the last 1-30 days, or select a custom time frame.
  3. There are now uniform colors on all of the graphs throughout Absolute Budget.

4. “Overspent” and “budgeted for” will now show up on the monthly tracking tabs.

The Net Worth tab is new to the 2017 4Q Absolute Budget, it is a great way to track your net worth month by month.

Below you can download your free Absolute Budget template along with an example.  The example explains how each tab works.
